Our parish has in June 2006, just
launched in to two new 'Mission Links' for the next six years.
Both links have been inspired by the very considerable personal
initiatives shown by two parishioners, Ken Rue and Robert Syme,
in recent years.
The first link is with the Diocese
of Shyogwe, Anglican Church of Rwanda, which Ken Rue has visited
on two occasions, and leading a work party on the second occasion.
Proposals and Plans for how our parish can link more actively
and practically with the Diocese are currently being addressed.
The second Link is with two projects
Bucharest and Brashov in Romania initiated by the efforts of Robert
Syme and now endorsed by the Church Mission Society in Ireland
(C.M.S.I.). Again, proposals and plans for developing this particular
link are presently being addressed.
