There are two Schools in the parish under Church of Ireland patronage.
First, there is St. Columba's College (entry off Kilmashogue Lane), whose
Visitor is the present Archbishop of Armagh, Archbishop Robert Eames.
St. Columba's College
is a co-educational and largely boarding secondary school and is set in a lovely
environment, looking out over the city of Dublin.
The College's Chapel (1878) is dedicated
to the apostle St. Mark and is one of the two church buildings
in Ireland that were designed by the distinguished ecclesiastical
architect, William Butterfield: the other is St. Mark's Parish
Church, Dundela, Belfast.
Secondly, there is Whitechurch National
School (founded 1823), whose Patron is the Church of Ireland Archbishop
of Dublin, Archbishop John Neill. Please now log on to the website
of Whitechurch National School for your enquires.
